Challenge

Design a user-friendly, responsive mobile app for AirBorne Airlines with a consistent visual identity aligned with the brand's values of comfort, luxury and seamless travel.

Solution

A cohesive design system and component library, developed from an initial mood board through to high-fidelity prototypes grounded in UX research — iterated through user testing to improve the clarity of flight deals, urgency indicators and navigation.

Outcome

A final clickable prototype with a consistent visual identity — and sharpened skills in UI design, user testing, component creation and design iteration, reinforcing a user-centred design approach.

Process

The project involved creating a cohesive design system, building a component library, and developing high-fidelity prototypes based on extensive UX research. I led the design process from initial mood board creation to the final clickable prototype.

Testing and iteration

User feedback from testing sessions was implemented across iterations — addressing issues such as clarity of flight deals, urgency indicators, and improved navigation.
